Keyshia Cole Announces Her Tour Dates!

Singer Keyshia Cole announced that she plans to start 'A Different Me' U.S. Tour in May. The 20-state tour is slated to begin May 13 in Cincinnati and ro include stops in chicago, Atlanta, Los Angeles, and Oakland through May and June.

The concert series will also include performances by Cole's label mate Keri Hilson as well as by Bobby Valentino and the The Dream.

Keyshia's manager Manny Halley said in a statement: "This is going to be a very exciting tour for Keyshia and her fans are already lining up to buy tickets. In Atlantic City the venue is already close to capacity."

"The most gratifying thing for me in show business is having the ability to be intimate with my fans. Singing directly to them is the most intimate thing I can do," added Cole.

Artists Set for 'Today' Concert

No Doubt, All American Rejects, Flo Rida, Black Eye Peas and Jennifer Hudson are among the bands and musicians scheduled to appear on NBC's "Today" as part of the mroning television show's 14th annual summer concert series.

The 2009 "Toyota Concert Series on Today" kicks off May 1st with No Doubt, the band's first live concert after a 5 year hiatus. The concert series with be held every Friday through the summer.

The early morning concert events take place in Rockefeller Plaza in NYC, just outside "Today's" window on the world studio. It's a first come first serve basis.

Detroit's Movement 2009 Festival Lineup Expands

Glitch Mob, Anthony Rother, Benga, and Marc "MK" Kinchen are just the many people performing at Detroit's Movement 2009 Festival. This is a annual electronic music festival held on Memorial Day. More than two dozen artists will perform not to mention the four acts joining the roster of 60 DJs and live acts that already includes dance music heavy hitters such as the Prodigy, Afrika Bambaataa, Bassnectar, Derrick May, Carl Cox, Z-Trip, Rick Wade and previous festival artistic directors Carl Craig and Kevin Saunderson.

The festival runs from May 23-25 in Detroit's Hart Plaza, while The Prodigy will perform at an official opening party on May 22 at the Fillmore Detroit.

TV On The Radio, Public Enemy & Others Set For 'Roots Picnic'

According to David Prince of New york, TV on the Radio, Public Enemy, the Black Keys, and Santigold were handpicked by The Roots to play the band's second annual hometown "Roots Picnic" at the Festival Pier in Philadelphia on June 6. The Roots will perform two sets, opening and closing the festival. It runs from 2:00pm to 11:00pm.

Several performers like the Pipes featuring Zoe Kravitz and Busdriver will play sets along with DJs Cash Money and Jazzy Jeff; spinning sets in between the bands. Many other bands will be performing so mark your calendars for this event.
